My twitting and tweeting promises revealing insights that may be shocking to some, preposterous to others and sizzling to the uninitiated…

What shall I Twitter about?

Well it will always be the Unedited Uncensored Video of my Mind…I will reveal my inner thoughts like never before…this is personal…and I mean business (what does that mean? Good question says I).

Everything the Blade Vision Network already slashes and burns shall fall victim to my arsenal of wordishness (except much more abbreviated, no not inebriated)…but as I said this is personal…you want the depth of shallowness of my mind this is it! (Somehow that does not seem quite right…but I promised not to edit didn’t I?)

Follow me on Twitter as I expose life as it is and life as it should be…there could be some dirty images for the theater of the mind…my ideas and ideals stripped naked (that should do it for the marketing, I should do product placement for Survivor)…

Art of Kissing Redheads are the stereotypes true?

Lilith snaked her slender fingers together, she noted the skin flaking along two decorous fingernails and contemplated how a visit to Spa Halo Holiday could rejuvenate her. The wonders a delectable lingering deluxe shampooing of her long wavy red hair would do, never mind a soothing skin moisturizer on her delicate milky skin. She looked across the dining table at Carlos the spa owner who seconded as her lover and smiled with a glint in her green eyes. He was so sophisticatedly adorable, handsome and very Italian, not in a Sopranos way mind you but more of an elegant style and suave demeanor kind of way.

When Lilith had first started dating Carlos she had felt her ‘halo’ had been bent and enjoyed the naughtiness of it. However recently she had to admit she would like to clip his wings. She knew he would not want to adapt their relationship to a more permanent status but that did not stop her from planning.

The other couple they were dining with Charles and Diana was immensely entertaining to observe. He was pretentious and intellectual, madly in love with himself. She was a delicate swan desiring domestication but flirting with a wild streak. Lilith stabbed her steak and while holding her fork with a coquette flourish seduced the morsel into her mouth.

Diana smiled at her with an apprehensive brow and spoke with her infuriatingly perfect come hither English accent “Lilith I must confess that I have read your Vamplicious and Rockgoyle series of novels.”

Lilith smiled her snake smile back, her words sheathed in a camisole of words “Diana they do say confession is good for the soul. I dare say you are in fine company as Vamplicious and Rockgoyle has proven to be such a provocative best selling series.” She did leave the unasked question ‘what do you think of my writing darling?’ hanging by a g-string.

“Indeed” Charles inserted himself into their conversation “your books have a favored status on Diana’s bedside table.” He unsurprisingly did not seem approving, but Lilith did somehow manage to capture some unidentified undercurrent in his words.

Carlos smiled his ravishing smile his perfect white teeth gleaming and proposed while holding a glass of red wine in one hand “yes, Lilith is a charmer; I find her characters to be, complex and quite invigorating. But when I try to read them in bed not much reading gets accomplished.” Lilith blew him a kiss and adjusted the way she sat providing a slight inviting jiggle to her breasts.

Diana held a demure smile and her words blushed “complex characters indeed, I find myself troubled in normally celebrating the victories of the villains in your novels.”

Are redheads more wicked than other people?

Lilith drew her eyes targeting Diana while undressing her words now in a bustier each syllable a tattoo “just who are the villains, and who are the heroes?”

“Most seem to view the vampires as the heroes while asserting the gargoyles as the villains. However I would suggest that this is an elementary summation to the overall storyline” Charles presented clinically to a much surprised Lilith picturing him reading her novels. Perhaps there was more than mere intellect behind those bushy eye brows of his.

Lilith bowed her head slightly to Charles in appreciation of his insights then responded “true, most seem to think they prefer clear cut black and white characters.”

“Well they are, are they not?” inquired Diana her thinking clearly disheveled with these revelations. “I mean the vampires at least have an aspect of humanity to them whereas the gargoyles are so bestial.”

Charles jumped at this opportunity “the Bombardier beetle compartmentalizes various chemicals that it then mixes at strategic times to expel as noxious gasses at over one hundred Celsius. Separately the chemicals are not combustible, combined they can be…rather unpleasant. The same may true of Lilith’s characters.”

Carlos then interjected “so then it is the combining of the characters that shall we say provides the darkness? This sounds like something from the Godfather.”

All heads turned towards Lilith who responded with metaphorically leather clad eyes and metal riveted voice woven into silky tenderness “all of my characters are villains, just as all people are villains. My art imitates and is informed by life” then she finished with lace filigree while scrolling bundled strands of her long red hair “some are just better at disguising their whips and chains, blood and teeth with embellishing ornamentation.”

Diana looked insulted “well I certainly am not a villain.” She responded while straightening her back.

Lilith then kissed her responding words to Diana with a touch of her vamp mischief “Some would say that denying of our villainy is our worst crime. This also horizons the question of whether our crime is so long, intense and convoluted that we are pathological in denial. I know I am more than just a sexy redhead, I know I am a villain but I desperately want to be a hero. This may be a good and evil Victorian secret but it is nonetheless true.”

Chapter 7

Dreamy Sexy

The limousine cruised through the tower lined streets until it was corralled by a herd of traffic, yellow taxis being the prominent species of entrapment. Harmony looked wishfully at the various shops and cafes they passed. She then turned from her view through the window of the New York streets to look at Lucy sitting beside her.

Lucy looked over and saw Harmony appraising her and asked “Harmony do you remember in Shockwave! when you were climbing the outside of that skyscraper in the Middle East and that other player almost fell into you?”

“That was Ellis, it wasn’t his fault…the wind had kicked up really badly, it was a nasty gust catching him in a vulnerable position. It turned into a sand storm, very nice for exfoliating the skin. Ellis is a solid outdoors man and athlete, he rocked at everything in or on the water and I was lucky to beat him.” Harmony explained while nodding her head affirming her thoughts. She then admitted to herself ‘it would have been nice if Ellis had dropped in on me.’

The limo pulled up at their destination, they entered the building and took the elevator up. Harmony asked Lucy “how do I look?” Lucy responded with a smile “Harmony, you are Shockwave! You are so dolled up that every guy we pass is panting like a puppy. How do I look?” Harmony looked Lucy up and down studying the all black attire, tall slender figure, short black hair, pale skin, fine facial features and answered “like my Amazon vampire bodyguard.” Lucy smiled showing her teeth behind ruby red lips and answered “good, very good.”

They stepped out of the elevator at their floor which opened up to the office they were seeking. It was elegant with slim lines, enchanting colours and some modern art that was striking. They told the receptionist who they were and momentarily they were greeted by their host.

His suit was Italian, his walk was studied, his hair was short and black, his handshake firm, his face was riveting and his eyes absorbing. Harmony said to herself ‘he is dreamy, and he works for me.’

Laszlo Farkas had been Harmony’s agent before she had become a contestant on Shockwave! Since the beggining he had treated her with respect and honesty. When she had first been injured he had run shotgun on everything that could be done to both care for her health and celebrity. He was a consummate professional respected by his competitors and appreciated by his clients.

Laszlo guided Harmony and Lucy down the hall to his office, his eyes appraising Lucy in an instant. He was a quick take on people, he had known that Harmony would be a success and he knew that Lucy was exceptional. Harmony had just delivered another star to him.

The three of them sat in comfortable yet sleek contoured chairs; the view out the windows was spectacular. Laszlo made sure that each of them had an ice water; his offices had no alcohol as he was a strong proponent of clean living.

Laszlo took the initiative “Harmony, I cannot tell you how pleased I am at the pace of your recovery. If you are prepared I have some opportunities for you, if not then I am pleased to keep your adoring fans awaiting your harmonization.”

Harmony laughed as she remembered this little joke the two of them had continued since their first meeting. She was a bit nervous “what kinds of opportunities?”

“Well, I can get you on the set of one of the late night shows tonight if you’re up for an interview.” Laszlo smiled as he knew that invitation was a surprise to her. Then he continued with the rest as per the earlier conversation he had with Harmony over the phone “Butterfly Magazine has agreed to the fashion photo shoot and interview.”

“They did?” Harmony gleamed with excitement. She looked over at Lucy who looked self assured and pleased at Harmony’s clear happiness although seemed a bit confused about the plans as she had not heard of them beforehand.

Laszlo then continued “Yes, they loved your idea. Frankly Harmony it is a brilliant and bold move.” He glanced at Lucy then added “it looks like you haven’t told Lucy the concept; you are going to need to get her cooperation.”

Harmony looked sheepish, when it became apparent that she was remaining mute Laszlo said “Lucy, have you heard of Butterfly Magazine?”

Lucy nodded and replied her German accent faint “yes, it is one of the top fashion magazines in the world, but I don’t understand...” She looked between Harmony and Laszlo.

He then continued “Butterfly Magazine is enormously influential, a globally powerful fashion and pop culture trends sculptor. They have agreed to put Harmony on the cover of the international edition along with an extended interview. Harmony already knew this, but she had also requested that they take a risk by allowing her to contribute a special photo shoot to the same issue.” Laszlo looked to Harmony and then back to Lucy and continued “Harmony knows that you have always wanted to be a model, that it’s your dream and wants you to be her model for this shoot. It will be both the premier of her photography and your modeling.”

Lucy sat stunned staring at Laszlo and Harmony, her mouth opened and closed silently a few times. Laszlo then continued “I will take that as a yes to the offer and will get my people to complete the drawing up of a basic contract, open to some negotiation of course. Lucy I had seen some photos that Harmony had sent me of you and I consider you very photogenic. Butterfly was very impressed with your look and Harmony’s photos. As a matter of fact this will most likely be their largest print run ever.”

Harmony sat grinning while inside her head she conversed ‘have I lost my mind? I’ve never done anything like this before. How am I ever going to take photos like that of Vampire Chick? Laszlo is dreamy sexy but his office is empty as the prairies, I should have brought him some of my fruity candles. Butterfly Magazine is dreamy but I’m screwed, I know nothing about photography. Great, these two look like they are going to fall in love, what am I a dating service?’ In the background Harmony could hear Lucy ask “exactly what photos of me did Harmony send to you?”

Chapter 6

Lingerie Party

“The vampire’s lips were reddened from the frenzied erotic blood feeding…”

“I lost track, is the vampire in human form, bat form or wolf form?” Harmony asked.

“He has been a human for the past few minutes of the story.” Lucy responded sounding a bit perturbed at yet another interruption of her story; as such her German accent was rather turbid.

“He had to be human to seduce the victim Harmony; she would never have fallen for him in bat or wolf form.” Aiko explained clearly enthralled by the story while absently playing with strands of her long black hair.

“You know while we are safely sealed away here in the tent bats are flying around ravenously devouring the mosquitoes outside in the surrounding dark forest.” Harmony informed them as if providing a guided tour ‘bats to your left, werewolves to your right, giant spiders above and gargoyles just ahead, keep an eye out for vampires’ she said to herself.

“Perhaps this is enough of the horror stories.” Teresa suggested.

Harmony looked at the other women in the tent, this was she reminded herself supposed to be a lingerie party. She was wearing a designer lacy gauzy thing ‘baby doll meets vamp’, Goth Chick Lucy was wearing some kind of all black latex body suit ‘if she wore that to close to the camp fire she would regret it’, Jackie O Aiko was wearing a long Hello Kitty sleeping shirt ‘how stereotypical’ and Di Teresa was buried in her sleeping bag with eyes peering out at them across the tent ‘horror movie girl next door victim?’

“Harmony this reminds me of that episode of Shockwave! you were in that took place someplace in Asia and you had to climb out of the bat cave and mountain bike miles in the pouring rain to that boat.” Aiko reflected.

Harmony thought about this observation for a few moments then sadly replied “I don’t remember that.”

“I have it here on DVD” Lucy informed the group as she pulled out her laptop and searched in her bag for the extended version of the popular realty show.

“You aced that challenge in the show Harmony. Do you remember the smell of the bat cave?” Teresa asked.

After Harmony wrestled with her memory she replied “yes, I do remember it! Bat scat has a unique scent and that cave was particularly pungent but had a distinct sickly sweet touch to it. It bothered the other players but it made me think of the time one of my dogs rolled around on a dead seal.” Harmony had a warm smile emblazoned upon her face. “It was hilarious washing the dog, he was revolted by the stink but the next time we were in the area he seemed to look around longingly for the dead seal. Good thing it was gone, he stank up my pickup truck! That smell brought on good memories; I wanted to win for my dog Judas.”

“Your dog was named Judas?” Teresa questioned.

“Oh yeah he turned traitor on my boyfriend at the time, when we split Judas was just a pup and we let him decide who to go with, he picked me and my ex called him Judas.” Harmony explained while grinning.

“What was your boyfriend’s name?” Aiko asked as she helped Lucy set up the laptop with the Shockwave! DVD.

Harmony seemed mesmerised by her thoughts then replied “I don’t know, maybe it wasn’t a boyfriend; it may have been when my dad abandoned my mom and me when I was a little girl and they fought over the dog.”

The tent was silent as a tear flowed down Harmony’s cheek and she hid her face. Teresa thought to herself ‘Harmony, sweet beautiful Harmony, it was your mom Jude that died when you were young, your dad raised you and your sister. Then your dad also died tragically, but I am still here Harmony, and although you don’t remember it, I am still your sister. We are going to get you through this, everything is going to be ok, I hope.’ Not for the first time since Harmony’s tragic accident did Teresa slip into silent prayer.

Chapter 5

Invasion of the Manga Vampire Blood Suckers

Whack! The ground thudded. “What was that?” Teresa asked running around the tent towards the noise. She beheld Harmony ax in hand cutting large chunks of firewood. At first Teresa felt trepidation but then joy when she recognized the relaxed manner and clear skill employed by Harmony. She may not have the brute force of a man but she was tough and skilled. No wonder she won Shockwave! In the outdoors Harmony was in her natural environment, she was a force of nature.

Harmony moved a long strand of hair from her face and glanced over towards the fire pit and yelled over “hey Jackie O wanna grab some of this wood and chuck it on the fire?” Harmony’s inner voice was then conversing ‘that Jackie O is a mere slip of a girl, dresses like she thinks she is some super hero or something, not right for the woods. Still, the bears will leave her alone; I’ve seen squirrels with more meat on their bones. But look at the family she married into.’

‘Jackie O’ got up from her seat by the growing fire and walked over to Harmony. “Harmony, you know my name is Aiko, I’m partially of Japanese descent, I’m actually Eurasian. I don’t look anything like Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.”

Harmony rested the ax while handing a couple of pieces of wood to Aiko. “I know girl. You think I’m losing my mind? Think I’m crazy?” Harmony asked with a broad smile and fingers spinning at the temple of her head. “I call you Jackie O because she was drop-dead gorgeous the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. That is till I met you. My brain may be broken but my eyes still work.”

Aiko smiled demurely “thanks Harmony, that’s kind of you.” Blushing she took the wood over to the fire pit and sat down selecting one of the longer pieces of wood which she used to poke around at the fire. Aiko looked out of place camping in the forest as she typically had a touch of manga, Japanese comic fantasy or street culture to her style of dress and makeup. It had taken a lot of convincing to get her to agree to coming on this camping trip. She was a big city girl, but in the end Harmony had talked her into camping.

‘Jackie O is Japanese?’ Harmony said to herself ‘good thing the tabloids never got a hold of that with the war going on. Why would she pick a super hero identity like Aiko? Still she is a cute girl. What’s an Aiko in Japanese, little loved one? Like a stuffed animal? Who would have thought I would become some famous celebrity and now be camping with a bevy of celebrity beauties? How sad about Jackie O’s husband, he was a good looking president always dressing in black and white, was he the one that slept around with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders?’ Harmony watched as Di sat down beside the fire with Jackie O.

“Harmony, where did you put the bug repellant?” Harmony turned to look beside the tent at the speaker who had a slight German accent. She had an inner conversation ‘what is this, an invasion? Still, Vampire Chick had proven to be pretty good in the woods. She had almost single handedly put up the tent before Di, Jackie O or I even got out of the SUV. She was so pasty white with tattoos and body piercings it looked like she never saw the light of day. Vampires drink blood, right? Better keep the ax close by then.’

Di interrupted Harmony’s thoughts “Harmony, Lucy was asking where you put the bug repellent.”

“Why would I bring bug repellant?” Harmony asked.

Lucy then responded while swatting at mosquitoes her German accent a bit frantic “we don’t have any bug repellant?” All four ladies looked at one another as fear began to grip them and the blood sucking mosquitoes began to ravage them. Lucy continued her accent gaining prominence “if we have no bug repellant we will have every drop of blood sucked away!”

The four of them rushed into the tent with Harmony saying to herself ‘this must be the part of the adventure where we have the lingerie party!’

Chapter 4

Garden of Harmony

It was a long diatribe of expletives followed by “Dirt! There’s dirt everywhere. Look at my nails! I hate gardening, I love flowers but I hate gardening.” Harmony Gems complained to Teresa as they worked in Harmony’s garden. Teresa smiled at her “Harmony, we have barely started and it would be easier if you wore appropriate clothing.”

“Appropriate clothing? This is one of my best garden dresses.” Harmony replied while pirouetting on her stiletto heels in a slinky tight mini-dress. ‘This dress is rose red after all’ she thought to herself.

“Harmony there is nothing ‘garden’ about that dress or those shoes for that matter. You’re dressed more for a party.” Teresa spoke in patient explanatory non-judgmental tones.

“Sweetie, I would rather be undressed for a party.” Harmony said as she stood hands on hips, her inner voice asking ‘what does this girl do for fun? Make cabbage rolls?’

Teresa smiled as she kept planting the flowers “Harmony earlier you said something about trying out your old lifestyle from before the accident. Do you mean it?” Harmony nodded yes. “Well I was looking in your kitchen and found a well worn recipe for cabbage rolls, we could try that.”

“I don’t eat meat anymore.” Harmony replied. “I’m not interested in gardening or cooking. I am interested in shopping and men.”

“Well you have lots of your own time for shopping and men, we are trying to help you develop a healthy balance. It’s great that you are living in the here and now but the past informs decisions today and for the future and right now you seem to need more information to make healthy choices.” Teresa replied while adding some soil to the base of the Japanese maple.

“I eat yogurt, that‘s healthy.” Harmony responded with a bit of a pout. ‘Healthy choices, what is Di talking about? I’m not making any choices in this dirty garden except that I do not want to play around in it!’ After these thoughts she said “I’m going inside Teresa, I need to wash off all this worm excrement.”

Shortly Teresa followed Harmony back inside, they both washed up. Teresa then said “alright no gardening or cooking for you today, but we could try out some of the outdoors activities you used to love.”

“Guns, I want to shoot guns.” Harmony replied.

“That may not be the best place to start. What if we tried a camping trip? We could go to one of your favorite places. I could get the other ladies to come along, you could show us around, it would be fun.” Teresa enthused.

Harmony played with the idea in her mind for awhile then asked “can we make it a lingerie party camping trip?”

“What do you think we are Victoria’s Secret models?” Teresa responded.

“Good idea, lets invite the Victoria’s Secret models, I met some during Shockwave! I love their angel wings.” Harmony replied and then asked herself ‘I wonder if they’re real, the wings not the models. If their wings are real does that mean they really are angels? Are they secret angels or secret agents, or perhaps secret angel agents? I need to talk with my agent.’

“Harmony I was actually thinking it could just be you, me and the other girls from the agency camping.” Teresa looked at Harmony with seeking eyes.

Harmony smiled at her “do you think the garden would be nicer if it had angels in it?”

“Only if they don’t drop their feathers everywhere” Teresa replied while thinking of how she would sell the idea of the camping trip to the other girls.

Chapter 3

Princess Feather

“I own more guns than I can count on my fingers and toes” Harmony Gems sung to herself while luxuriating in the bath flush with bubbles and bright glowing candle light surrounding her. She examined her toes for a moment as if seeing them for the first time. “Why have I never taken time to paint these cute little piggies?” She asked herself out loud then tickled her foot followed by a rapturous giggle and piglet squirm.

Harmony pulled the plug to drain away the water, bubbles, slivers of shaved hairs and body odour. She waved at the drain saying ‘goodbye old me’ to her donations to the bath water. This had been her first bath in years, showers were more efficient and practical, but now Harmony was rather disregarding towards those traits. Never mind the fact that previously she would spend days at a time in the wild, now she wanted to be the wild girl, but not in the wilderness sense. Still she had only been out of the hospital for three days and knew she should pace herself. ‘Is it really only three days? Should I fly to Vegas, Paris or Sydney tonight?’ she queried herself.

Standing, Harmony then carefully stepped out of the bathtub while blowing out the forest of scented candles. ‘Place smells like a fruit stand.’ She grabbed the plush towel then paused to look at herself in the mirror. Her inner voice conversed ‘when did I start to look like that? Those look good, nice skin also, how did I get into my twenties and miss this? What if I went to the boob store and got bigger ones? Fake boobs are full of salt water right, saline? That’s like ocean water and ocean water has tides from the moon, right? Great moon sized boobs bouncing around to the tide! That adds a whole new meaning to floatation devices. Well my skin is all to perfect to go scaring it up, still paying some strange doctor to knock me out then slice me up with a cold sharp knife and stick plastic bags with fluid in them under my skin for ascetic reasons is rather exciting and alluring! Am I fat? I am warped, better find something to do, makeup? I love makeup! I never owned any before now.’

The application of a rainbow of assorted makeup products took no less than three hours under the bright bathroom lights, large mirror and obsessive eyes of Harmony. ‘A little here, a lot there, pretty soon you’re all dolled up with a beautiful body and a broken brain. Really though is my brain actually broken? Do I truly miss hunting, fishing, climbing, camping, diving, kayaking, flying, trapping and leading adventure tours?’ It was at that moment while Harmony was painting her nails cherry red ‘it’s sexy’ that she decided she must at least try her previous lifestyle. Besides she still owned all the gear including those guns. ‘If fake boobs attracted men surely guns would not hurt? How about a double barrelled shotgun? Next time I go to the spa. The wax from the candles is still irritating my bikini line!’

Harmony walked into her bedroom past the one hundred thirty six boxes of fruity scented candles. The brain doctor had told her that she may now have a tendency to ‘horde’ stuff as an effect of the brain injury. At first she thought Dr. Brainy was saying she would have a propensity not to ‘horde’ but to being ‘horny’. ‘Was this ever true, but hording? No she was just being prepared; you never know if there will be a power failure lasting two to three decades. Besides the fruity candles were on sale! Sales were fun! Were the fruity candles edible?’

Harmony’s self conversation was interrupted by the door bell. She wrapped the towel around herself and answered the door. Standing before her was a woman in her mid-twenties like herself but with blond feathered hair, bright eyes, a charming smile, nice skin but was feather skinny and she was rather familiar. Harmony could not quite place Feather Girl.

“Hi Harmony, remember me?” Feather Girl asked.

“Oh yes now I remember, I thought you were dead. I have never met royalty come on in Princess Feather I mean Princess Diana.” Harmony swung open the door in invitation while curtseying as her towel became unwrapped exposing Harmony’s gems.

Quickly ‘Princess Diana’ grabbed the towel pushing it back in place while entering and closing the door behind her. “Harmony you must be more careful there could be a whole flock of paparazzi out there waiting like buzzards for a photo of you like that.” Harmony giggled while trying to look out the closing door. “Harmony you’ve been out of the hospital for over four months now and we still need to work out a few things. First I am not Princess Diana, my name is Teresa, and I’m one of the life coaches from the agency, remember? There are two other ladies that also work with you every week.”

Harmony nodded affirmative and asked herself ‘then Diana’s death really was faked; now she’s living a new life as a life coach? She was always a do gooder, pretty also. Why would Princess Di pick the name Teresa? Is it because Mother Teresa died around the same time?’ Another thought then percolated through her mind ‘was Mother Teresa’s death also faked? Best to just play along with Diana…Teresa. Dr. Brainy said I would have trouble remembering time, had it really been four months?’

Teresa then asked “Harmony it’s such a nice day outside and we had spoken about trying some gardening in your back yard. Should we plant some flowers?”

Harmony was exhilarated ‘yes flowers!’ she said to herself. “I love flowers; the garden would be very nice Diana…Teresa.”

“Great, then why don’t you get dressed and we can get to work?” Teresa was wearing her winning smile which Harmony could not say no to. Even though she really did not want to get dressed ‘what did a flock of buzzards look like?’

As they walked into the bedroom Teresa said “Harmony where did all these candles come from and why does it smell like an orchard in here?”

Chapter 2

The Dark Side

“Alright, I won’t drive, here are my keys, now pour me another Crown Royal Whiskey.” Harmony Gems whispered those words inside her head, she whispered because eyes closed she knew she must be suffering from a hellish hangover from such a night of drink. Her skull ached like devil horns had burned their way right through her head. Why had she gotten drunk? It had been years…

Slowly Harmony cracked open her eyes afraid of what she would see, or possibly even worse who she would see. It was worse than she thought, was it a candy striper or nurse? What kind of medical person wore a smock with happy faces on it? Darth Vader would be much more appropriate. Harmony then pictured the fashionably black clad Vader gravelly intoning ‘Harmony use the force, feel the power of the dark side.’

“Oh Ms. Gems your awake” nurse Happy Face squeaked at her. Harmony’s inner voice asked ‘how old is this girl? Shouldn’t she be at the mall learning bra sizes, smiling and giggling at boys?’

Nurse Happy Face then continued squeaking and chirping at her “Harmony, you had an accident, you fell down some stairs. You hit your head. It’s been almost four months. Some people thought you might be a vegetable but I’ve been here every day singing and talking to you! And now look at you, eyes open, not at all like a vegetable.” She then paused for a moment seemingly wondering if she should continue which she did while never seeming to breath “I’m wondering if maybe, well, if I could get your autograph?” Nurse Happy Face then held out her autograph book and pen to Harmony.

Harmony wished she had a light saber to vanquish Little Never Breathe Happy Face from the Death Star. Harmony then rumbled guttural profanity at the girl who then proceeded to scurry out of the room like she had been caught trying on her moms pantyhose. Where had that come from? Harmony was a rugged outdoors woman but never used profanity. It was beneath her dignity and intelligence. Her mom would have washed her mouth out with a box of Tide for that!

A doctor and nurse entered the room, Harmony was pleased that they were dressed in more sensible intimidating serious medical clothing. Don’t screw with my head; I’m in a hospital not on Sesame Street. It dawned on her that she was acting very Oscar the Grouch.

This new nurse was Nurse Vanilla, no erotic nurse fantasies would ever be launched by Nurse Vanilla, she could almost be the Invisible Woman she was so uninspiring. The doctor was a swarthy good looking Middle Eastern man; he had a charming accent and warm eyes “Ms. Harmony how are you feeling?”

Before she could think the words leapt out of her mouth “I am not Ms. Harmony, I am Miss Gems, Harmony Gems, now if you want to sweep me off my feet Dr. Arabia I’d be happy to give you a twirl in the sheets.” Where had that come from? Had she really said that? She’s lying in bed after how long in a coma with a broken head and she’s using tacky booze bar pick up lines on a doctor? Right now it may be better to be Ms. Invisible Woman.

There was an uncomfortable silence in the room for a few moments. The doctor looked at the nurse, the nurse looked at the doctor, and they both then looked at Harmony who proceeded to close her eyes, she then looked at both of them and said “I remember who I am, that’s good isn’t it? But why is it I have an irresistible urge to paint on expensive makeup over ridiculous facelifts, shop at exclusive boutiques for handbags, shoes and dresses, wear fancy sexy bits of lingerie, sip Starbucks and Champaign, buy some outrageously large breast implants, have wild sex with an Italian pool boy named Fabio in a porn video, and now the mere thought of eating meat makes me sick to my stomach?” After which Harmony turned and dry heaved over the side of the bed.

Nurse Vanilla quickly stepped forward to help Harmony who waved her away then said “nothing to clean up, except my head, what am I going to do, I’m me but somebody else, somebody that makes me sick, I’m perfectly, dreadfully cracked. Have any pills for that Dr. Arabia?”

Chapter 1

Shockwave!

“Last night you saw her win one million dollars, three beautiful homes and a galaxy of other prizes in the grand finale of the popular reality TV show Shockwave! The new princess of our hearts, the one, the only Harmony Gems!” Jonathon Burns host of the daytime ‘must see’ program ‘Burns’ rapturously applauded Harmony as she came onto the set and his audience ate up the celebrity of the new pop culture star.

Harmony smiled and waved seemingly embracing her new-found status, outdoors woman turns celebrity icon over night. She was glammed out in the latest style provided to her by Shockwave! Harmony did not feel harmonious; she was gripped by complete and utter fear. She felt like a deer caught in headlights blinded by the unfamiliar spotlights, Harmony felt more comfortable when a deer was caught in the crosshairs of her hunting rifle.

The stylish dress clung to her body like a cat suit; it made her feel like some meowing hooker! It was impossible to sit in the dress never mind walk in it. Harmony would have traded these newfangled fashions for her camouflage gear in the blink of an eye. Shockwave! was an adventure reality TV show not some Hollywood party extravaganza. ‘Turn here on the red carpet Darling, smile into this camera Princess, wave to this crowd Kitten’, it was all over-the-top and Harmony could not wait to get back her real life.

Burns guided her to the guest seat and began the interview. He fawned over her, touching her hand several times, which caused Harmony to think of all the tabloid rumors about his womanizing. She never read those rags but couldn’t miss the covers when in line at the grocery stores. Harmony asked herself ‘what kind of freak cheats on his wife with a theme park mascot?’ Burns spun up the sleaze-o-meter into the danger zone. But these interviews were all part of the contract; she had to put out to get the million. All this celebrity mayhem made the Shockwave! episode of parasailing in the Andes look easy.

Harmony fluttered along in the conversation never sure what the right answer was so she was just speaking her mind often to the laughter of the crowd. Burns waited for a moment of silence and then asked gravely “Harmony, in the scene were you said you believed George W. Bush was not involved in a conspiracy causing 911 everybody on Shockwave! took you seriously…How did you manage to get under their skin like that? It was a brilliant almost Oscar winning performance, have you ever taken acting lessons or are you a natural?”

“Mr. Burns 911 was a Muslim extremist conspiracy terrorist act” Harmony answered deadpanned.

For an instant Burns and his audience were stone cold silent then he erupted in laughter and the audience followed. “You almost had me there Kitten, you really are a gem” he continued “you are good, isn’t she folks?” The audience applauded even louder in response.

After the interview Harmony was frazzled, she felt like she was walking on egg shells. It was just a matter of time she thought till the ‘eggs’ shattered and everybody would discover that she was not who they thought she was, egg all over her face. The headlines would announce ‘another fraud celeb.’ She wasn’t sure how she managed to slip past the global warming question. When Burns asked about the polar bears and she answered “they taste good” everybody laughed for ages. Sure bear was not as good as moose but it was still tasty when prepared properly.

Harmony walked down the hall and opened the door to exit. A massive crowd greeted her; they had signs and were taking photos, yelling at her. It was Harmony that then cracked; she panicked as it had all been too much. She closed the door and ran down the hall opening the fire escape door. She quickly click clacked down the stairs in the uncomfortable high heeled shoes. What was with these shoes? She was a tall woman they didn’t need to trick her out like a giraffe.

Unfortunately it was at this moment that a typically physically astute Harmony handicapped by the unfamiliar tight dress and high heels awkwardly miss-stepped on the stairs. It seemed a long fall, perhaps something like a giraffe collapsing. However this was no savannah but a very solid, very high staircase.

Harmony’s painful fall would echo across the tabloids in a shockwave to popular culture. ‘Reality show princess suffers brain injury in tragic fall, world feels shockwave of horror. Harmony Gems still in coma after three months! What designer was Harmony wearing when she fell? Talk show host Jonathon Burns talks about his scandalous affair with Harmony, sex in the stairwell causes accident?’

Speculative fiction as expressed through science fiction and fantasy is a passion of mine. The intellectual and creative process combining to contrive the probable and the possible…as well as the impossible and outright miraculous…

Much of the creative writing that appears in our blogs is seeds of experimentation in speculative fiction. Exercises that have aided me in developing a novel of science fantasy…a yet uncompleted work but one that is well along…perhaps you can help me develop my craft…or maybe you want to watch a train wreck…

Star and Dragon is a logical outworking of that passion. It will boldly go into all aspects of science fiction, fantasy, myth and legend with blends of unique ideas, characters and places…and favourites from the worlds of science fiction and fantasy…

Yet we will not stop there…as speculative fiction is a wonderful launch pad for conversations it will also be philosophical and more…what is the meaning of why we create such characters, creatures, empires, technology and planets?

Love at first sight is a common theme in western art. The eyes fasten upon the other and the love is signed sealed and delivered. Most of the time the couple realize that this moment of magic has arrived…other times it is apparent to observers that it has happened but is not recognized by the lovers…perhaps later they see what has occurred…but not always.

Love at first sight is a common fantasy particularly among women; it is also common with men but often has a more erotic echo to it. Popular culture plants these seeds and nurtures them…and we seem to want it to be true…the magic of this first sight visitation seems portrayed as the ideal.

Yet what of the slower relationship integration over time…The couple spends time together and then grows together lives entangled. Why is one more romantic than the other? Why is one presupposed the perfect way to “fall in love?” Why is this referred to as “falling in love?” Why do we “fall” for another…

Whisper You Turn Me On

“You turn me on”…the keys and gateways to attraction are as varied as every set of eyes, lips and the rest of the body shop…the mysterious tension of flushes and blushes that pushes and pulls us is as indelible as gravity and just as meaningful to our existence.

The quirks of nurture and the engraving of nature blend into the relationship flavour shake that culminates in our bed shakes…but what of that inexplicable tension that ignites that inner voice whispering those words “you turn me on”?

“You” speaks of the other declaring a catalyst without that touches us within. “Turn” evokes the desire bubbling and capturing our attention. “Me” is the transference from the other admitting the effect upon self…attraction communication is now almost beyond fight or flight. “On” is open invitation of receptiveness…the whisper is now the shout…

The whisper is really where the power is…“you turn me on” is whispered into our lives as we recognize our attraction to the other…the command that trumps such whispers is the mind lassoing the desires freeing us from slavery to every “you” that touches our lives…the whisper that nods to self saying “there is more to life than being turned on.”

Happy Valentine’s Day…

“Love is the only shocking act left on the planet”…Some people are in love…some are in love with the idea of love…some would love to be in love…some people do not know the meaning of love…and some think sex is love…

“Are you lonesome tonight?” the song goes while others propose the idea that proposing marriage is insanity…thus they get divorced convinced that it was temporary insanity…

The world seems to be so desperately in need of love that it requires shock treatment…defibrillation not just for the physical heart but the emotional heart.

Love and sex meet in the crosshairs of romance…generally we understand what love is…and what sex is…but romance? Romance has mystery, love at first sight…and caution to the wind…the danger zone…romance sweeps us off our feet flying so high we have insufficient oxygen and so then our minds do not operate properly.

I am one very happily married man…and I know others such as myself…but I also know many others that throw in the towel before they even get wet. People that expect married life to be one constant romance. The problem is the fuzzy euphoria of romance is fleeting and ephemeral as a natural high.

However love is different…love is not just an emotion it is a commitment to another. Love is a word far too casually thrown about…just as sex is too casual…My experience is that love that proves itself through time, suffering and selflessness is triumphant and romantic…People misconstrue happiness for love…My wife and I are not always happy with one another but we are nevertheless always in love…and such love breeds romance…perhaps not of the Hollywood variety but of a more meaningful dynamic existential experience.

Love sex and romance need to be unpacked as more than raw animal urges, survival techniques, self-improvement modes, happiness ascension euphoria extenders, obsessions, power thresholds, or self centered self indulgent propaganda…the pornography of love…

Love is not about you….Gentlemen love is not porno and sex…Ladies love adult style is not a chick flick and babies…

An Adult Twelve Days of Christmas Video

Thou are warned video may be too hot for some…but not really….

This video of Janice Dickinson singing The Twelve Days of Christmas may be construed by some as an emblem of the perceived current global moral meltdown…global warming on a relationship scale. However I thus suggest that much is the same as the time of the First Christmas.

Lasciviousness, hyper sexuality, vanity, greed…all the sins are still with us. The Art of the kiss is how we live among this extraordinary hedonistic and materialistic world without being infected by this self indulgent virus.

Although I understand some may be distraught at this video I must say that I found it outrageously humorous! While flamboyant in style it is also robust in self deprecation…it sings in neon “I know I’m ill” which is much more winsome than “your ill but I am healthy” particularly as those claiming self health often appear arrogant and self righteous. Of course it may yell out “I know I’m ill” and still not ask for the cure which is a tragedy unto itself…

Each of us have our sins of choice…pick one of Janet’s Twelve Deadly Sins…surely they can seem aright for instances but each has the potential for moral dishevelment or even self destructive global meltdown of morality…civilization on the brink…it has happened before and will happen again…

While in London this past week the papers were all atwitter not looking at Victoria Beckham’s skeletons in her closet but her skeleton barely confined under a lite dusting of skin….

This being said what passes for newspapers in London generally cannot be described as “news” papers…it is more lifestyle, gossip and celebrity obsessing along with sensationalizing anything they can get their hands on. It is almost to the point where you can take the ludicrous horoscopes as seriously as any news reports. In short the London papers are boney thin on substance and real reporting!

We at Art of the Kiss would never want to obsess about whether Victoria seemed in need of deboning, or if she seemed healthy looking, we would never ask our dear readers if they think she is too thin and boney, or too defensive about how her appearance is being reported etc…However we are interested in why people are so interested in celebrities, what people think of Victoria’s fashions and the latest in celeb games…what is your high score with Nosh for Posh? Ain’t no doubt about it…..we were doubly blessed…a song that tells the story of a young couple…barley 17…parked….and glowing like the metal on the edge of a knife….praying for the end of time…This is Paradise by the Dashboard Light….a song with creative imagery and storytelling…

The story is more than cheap sex by the dashboard light of a Ford (probably in danger of break down)….it is cold and lonely in the deep dark night….it is the struggle between intentions, power thresholds, youthful passions certainly but also an opera of sorts…there are the performances…acting, music, costumes…a setting and it is certainly a dance of desire and the will enthralled to determination…it is drama…gender politics…all wrapped up in sport euphemisms and the passions of teenagers…

Songs artistically tell us stories of life...they can become anthems of sorts…they can shore up metanarratives or introduce splintering concepts…the argument goes that art imitates life but life can also imitate art…

Humans get lonely…lonely in the deep dark night…surely this can be sexual but also sheer loneliness…so lonely that we trade convictions for the comfort of another body…so lonely that we exchange fluids with strangers we would not make a cup of coffee for in the morning…thus comes regret…

This begs the question…why do we get lonely?

I believe we desire to transcend self…we are designed for relationships…and because it is dark by the dashboard light we often do dark things in relationships…but indeed relationships and sex are to be part of the light not the darkness of our hearts…

We live in a world swamped in loneliness…we get lonely….there are other ways to diminish that loneliness than by the dashboard light…where do you go to perish the loneliness? Where do you go?

Once upon a time….nay still now…today…Alas I am a romantic at heart…fairy tales do not necessarily have happy endings…indeed some would say a happy marriage is but a fairy tale…

July 29 1981 Charles and Diana festooned televisions around the globe with an estimated audience of over 750 million people viewing their wedding. A throng of epic proportions waited outside and inside St Paul's Cathedral the dome of the Devout Apostle of Special Assignments was filled to capacity.

Hearts pounded, tears flowed…sweaty hands grew sticky and fidgety…breath was held in expectation…prayers emanated… a spectacle was enraptured upon a multitude…but many a fairly tale has a dragon…and thus this story lays torched as so many dreams, fantasies and fairy tales do…the gauzy veil burned and spoiled…

No happy ending…with no riding off in the sunset. No lingering sweet kiss under an old oak tree…but bitterness and estrangement…an ending before death we do part…a different kind of spectacle raw naked in the public eye…

Relationships can have many ups and downs, often more of the latter than the former. Yet there are many happy couples, happy families.

I have seen that look…you know “that” look. A person asks me about married life, it’s boring isn’t it, the sex is dull isn’t it, the love flickers and burns out doesn’t it, she is no longer the apple of your eye right, life is a gruesome routine right, the simple things no longer bring you joy right, dinner together is boring right, do you still think she is beautiful, how can you settle for just one woman….?

The love I feel for my wife does not simply endure, it grows day by day, season by season. Such love and commitment can actually be offensive to some people. When I tell the questioners that my years of marriage are the happiest days of my life some look dumbstruck. Others look like they simply cannot or will not believe me. Some do believe but seem to think it is delusional…then there are others that do believe and want the same…and yet others that have the same kind of experience smile knowingly…

Although some may believe that we need The Sims for that happy life because we are just plain incapable of it I say do not despair, it is not delusion, there is hope….

Yes, perhaps you have not found such a life...yet. However a happy life is not built solely upon an emotion. It is an act of the will. You can choose to be happy, when times are rough do not let them rule the day. My wife and I have our disagreements but they do not dominate our lives, they come and go as water off the back of a duck…and then we soak up those golden moments of splendour and wonder at life…This is possible whether married or single. Surely tragedies hit us in life but it is how we live through them and move forward afterwards that define us…

When you learn to receive this gift of common grace in life it is attractive. It is a gift to be shared and creatively explored, exported and imported. When you do this the world around you is…different…life is a blessing…happiness is a gift…receive it and gift it to others…

A sunbeam in the winter, a rainbow in the summer, a cold glass of water on a hot day, the feel of a puppies fur, the purr of a kitten, the smile of a child, the taste of food, the smell of flowers, the flight of a bird, the clear blue sky, a mountain peak, the majesty of grass lands, the power of the ocean, the silver Moon, a peace offering, snowflakes, collecting rocks, a blade of grass, the feel of a heartbeat, good books, laughter, tears, tickles, hot coffee, feeding the dog, sharing a meal, sleep, a shower, milk chocolate, white clouds...the joy that another is happy…life…preparing to die…seeing new life…waiting for a loved one, embracing, kissing, living in the moment, the wonderful feeling of forgiving and being forgiven…beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it says more about you than about the beheld….

Art of Kissing: Yours Mine and Ours: Popular Culture

Yours, Mine and Ours is one of my favourite movies although it has been a while since I have seen it in its totality. I purposely did not watch the recent remake as to me Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda simply own the movie.

The story of the father of ten and mother of eight (both of their spouses are dead), meeting, courting and marrying is endearing (and often hilarious). What many see as an insurmountable obstacle of a combined 18 children (with then the addition of another!) is turned into a delightful romance between Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda and then a love story of two families growing into one.

In this video I find the apparent influence of the movie the two are watching to be very interesting. It provokes the question of art vs. life. In our relationships to what degree does the media influence us? It is said that art imitates life yet in what ways has life influenced the art and why has it had the said impact?

I would also argue that the media has the potential for impacting society on a massive scale that can resolve change almost instantly. One only need observe how Oprah can impact the sale of a book she promotes. Advertisers know they can impact the flow of money etc. So we know that art/media can influence society but society is made up of every single individual. Society is the crowd and the one.

Could it be that when a bizarre life story is communicated in the media it then gains some form of promotion as permissible and equal to others simply by its dissemination?

If the romantic movie the two are watching in the video could influence or predispose them to acceptance of a romantic attachment then what of pornography and the kind of influence it could have? Of course the argument could be made that the two characters are looking for love so they are both watching the romantic movie.

How does a contrarian life style become a mainstream relationship?

Hello Livingsword,

I have a serious bed issue that to some may seem a lark. Every night when my husband and I go to bed our dog Jumbo jumps up on the bed and lays down right between us!

Its bad enough but my husband likes it! The dog lays there on its side with its legs sticking straight out and then dreams about chasing rabbits with its paws clawing up my blanket and legs as Jumbo runs after the rabbit!

Needless to say this interferes with any romantic affection! The dog is really cramping our life style!

Please can you help?

Hello Sick of Doggie Style,

I can understand the earnestness of your situation, thanks for the Bed Post.

There are more than a few things to take into consideration here. How large is your bed? Is it big enough that it is like you and your husband sleep in two different time zones? Or is it smaller like you share a hanky? (This would facilitate hanky panky)

What breed of dog is Jumbo (he sounds rather large)? Does he get many opportunities to chase rabbits? Did you choose Jumbo for his appearance or for your lifestyle?

Do you cut his nails? Does Jumbo have some other place he is supposed to sleep? You may be able to convince Jumbo there is a better place for him to sleep even if you can’t convince your husband…

Till you provide these morsels of information for me it is difficult to fix your state of affairs. However I have what I believe is a very helpful starting suggestion. Trade the side of the bed you sleep on with your husband.

I hope this helps your situation…

The waters of English Bay had been super for sailing. After cruising the waters snowboarding on Mt. Seymour had then finished the day off. Now Landon pulled his BMW Z4 Roadster into the garage and lifted his now stiff body out of the auto. As he entered the stylish and expensive home he was greeted by his smiling Julia.

“Hello love” he said just before they kissed in greeting. Julia was drop dead gorgeous in her slinky black number. Her long golden blond hair, perfect skin and seductive figure set off the fabulous jewellery she was wearing.

“Hi Landy” Julia responded with a smile then continued, “Dinner is ready.” She guided Landon through the open living architectural home to the dining area. In the background through the broad windows the city lights, ocean and setting sun could be seen but in the foreground the table was set with their most luxurious china and accompaniments. Perfectly prepared wild salmon awaited them along with delightful side dishes.

As they enjoyed their meal together Landon regaled her with his athletic exploits of the day and the craziness of his buddies that had accompanied him. Julia laughed at his jokes asked insightful questions and had ‘that look’ which melted Landon’s heart. Love was on their lips and when Landon reached across to kiss Julia he pulled up short complaining about his back aching from the day’s events.

“Let me massage your back” Julia requested and Landon submitted. He went into the bedroom taking off his shirt revealing a trim muscular build and requested “Love could you massage me with an alcohol rub?”

Julia smiled back and replied, “Sure Landy just lay down on your stomach, and I’ll get the bottle.” She ran a perfectly manicured and painted finger nail across his six-pack then left the room to get the bottle.

It is said that any real blond is a dumb blond...

Landon lay down on the bed the aching in his back growing as well as his anticipation of the relieving alcohol rub. He heard Julia re-enter the room and then he felt her gently kneel astride him on the bed preparing to massage him. Her skin was silky against his masculine form, her long hair swished upon his back…

Landon could feel the liquid start to trickle on his back then it began to flow to a steadier stream. Julia seemed to be rather carried away so he asked, “Love how much are you putting on?”

Julia replied, “Oh I’m just pouring on the second glass right now.”

“Julia what do you mean ‘pouring on the second glass’?” he asked as suspicion began rankling Landon.

Then Julia leaned forward and showed him his bottle of Canadian Rare Heritage Blend Crown Royal rye whiskey purchased for $10,000!

Fabulously wealthy and a literary superstar green eyed, milky skinned redhead Lilith was reaping the rewards of her success. Her time travelling vampire and gargoyle series Vamplicious and Rockgoyle launched her career but now she sat astride writers block. Of course this was a secret between her publisher and herself. As far as the public was concerned she was on a working vacation in Vancouver and Whistler inspired for the next book of the series. If only she had the faintest idea how to extricate herself from the baggage her characters were carrying! Lilith had painted herself into a corner, as one of her few friends Simon said ‘Lilith you need to go easy on the lipstick your characters are wearing, one vamp is starting to look like another’ and Lilith knew it was true.

Lilith strolled through spectacular Whistler Village arriving at Spa Halo Holiday described as a ‘kiss of rest for tired wings.’ She approached the sophisticated yet architecturally distinctive Whistler influenced spa front. The door drew open for her upon approach and as she stepped in fresh scents slathered her senses. A gentle indoor waterfall soothingly splashed down some carefully placed mountain rocks, luxurious alpine water coloured glass adorned the walls along with native art accompanied by cedar accents needing just one thing…and then it appeared in the form of a gorgeous Mediterranean gentleman.

“Ciao Bella welcome to Spa Halo Holiday, I am Carlos please come in and rest your wings.” Carlos had a ‘kiss me hold me’ Italian accent that perfectly matched his flashy smile exquisitely carved facial features and perfectly contoured definitely upscale designer casual wear.

A tall blond young girl wearing a fashionable black mini dress carrying a tray with a glass of water offered “Madam would you like a glass of mineral water?” her Aussie accent was so perfectly relaxing and her good looks perfectly annoying. Lilith imagined a stiletto heal riveted to ‘Aussie Girls’ forehead.

Carlos explained that he was the owner of the spa as he guided Lilith to the guest greeting comfort area and assisted her in choosing the perfect spa program for this first time visit. Lilith was enthralled with the manner in which Carlos expressed his passion for excellence in service and how he made her feel uniquely prepared for this experience. She felt a relaxing of the tension that had been tying her into knots as she was massaged by his voice and titillated by the three times he politely touched the small of her back while showing her the features of his facility.

After the short tour and explanation of the services Lilith was soaking in a bath with gold fish swimming around her. Occasionally she felt the gentle nibbles of the little fish which she was told was good for exfoliation. She then enjoyed a massage, pedicure and had her long wavy red hair soothingly brushed. Lilith was then sitting in the common lounge with two other female customers all three of them wearing plush white bathrobes.

They were surrounded by exotic plants with scrumptious fruit in outsized expensive fragile bowls and delicate art festooned about them. The other two women were holding purring kittens while Lilith had chosen the yellow Labrador puppy relaxation therapy. She felt completely tranquil as she stroked the irresistible soft puppy ears.

It is said that the Art of Kissing Redheads is hazardous as per their supposed mercurial temperament…

Lilith emerged from her serenity while listening in on the other two female customers one of whom was a brunet while the other was a bottle blond.

The brunet clandestinely disclosed to her bottle blond friend “it is such a shame, an Italian man, so exceedingly good looking and stylish” and the blond finished disappointedly “and so very gay.” The brunet then asked “why are all the good ones gay?”

This flipped the switch in Lilith’s brain ‘gay’ Carlos is not ‘gay’! She saw red and there was no going back. She stood up and the puppy gently rolled away from the storm front. Utter rage seeped out with Lilith’s words “he is not gay, have you ever thought that if you think all the good men are gay that perhaps there is something wrong with what you think the perfect man is?”

The bottle blond looked at Lilith and then turned to the brunet and asked “is she talking to us? Did you know we could have a puppy instead of a kitten?”

Lilith boiled over with that, she repeatedly put her hands into the many very large bowls of fruit salad and flung fistfuls of fruit salad at the two women!

The blond and brunet yelled shielding themselves with their relaxation kittens while three young pretty female attendants watched frozen aghast. Then Carlos entered the room and in his handsome melodious voice informed them that “ladies fruit therapy is in the next room”.

If a woman thinks gay men are superior to straight men does that mean the woman is looking for the wrong things in a man?
